Class Descriptions

Fundamentals Gi Jiu Jitsu

An overview on self defense, escapes from inferior positions and basic attacks will be emphasized during this class.

All Levels I Gi Jiu Jitsu

Following a more beginner friendly approach to practitioners without straying too far away from weekly and monthly themes purposely designed to bring out the best in each participant. Elements of self defense, takedowns, submissions and positional control will be primary topics during this class.

All Levels II Gi Jiu Jitsu

All levels means that anyone is welcome to join class. All levels II is material that is fit for competition, with a focus on modern jiu jitsu.

All Levels No-Gi

No-Gi is best practiced wearing a compression shirt and shorts with no metal parts and a draw string. Follow a less restrictive rule set during no-gi practice should the instructor find you are a trusting practitioner.

Judo for Jiu Jitsu

Learn the details of taking your opponent down along with the fundamentals required for Jiu Jitsu promotions. An emphasis on both self defense practicality and competition will be incorporated. Think Judo with a less restrictive rule set, so its more applicable to Jiu Jitsu competition.

Mobility and Movement

A class designed to help aid in recovery and increase mobility. It’s a great way to combat the aches and pains that can come with practicing BJJ, while also increasing ranges of motion to help reach positions that might previously have been unavailable.

MovNat Fitness Bootcamp

The MovNat Fitness Bootcamp is designed to help you lose weight, get stronger, and move better. You’ll learn to perform varied exercises, both independently and cooperatively, in this small class size setting.

Strength and Conditioning for BJJ

Learn specific exercises and how to design workouts to help increase your athleticism for BJJ. Also great for keeping in shape if you have to stay off the mats. Contact for availability.

Open Mat

Meet your local jiu jitsu community while pushing yourself as rolling is heavily emphasized here. Anyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation, team, etc. This is Free for all, we just ask that you respect our culture and read the rules and etiquette posting before participating.

Family Open Mat

Work with your child, or have our child show you what they’ve been working on. Adult supervision will be provided, but best practice for family open mat is that you stay with your child.
